I'm so excited to "meet" you! I'm Leah - a wedding and portrait photographer based in Richmond and Charlottesville, VA. I was born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin (yes, I love cheese), went to college in Pittsburgh (one of my favorite places), and made my final stop in Richmond to start my photography career. Some of my favorite things include traveling, enjoying time outside, snuggling with my cat, and all things wine and coffee!

After many, many hours and weekends spent planning weddings and photography sessions I decided to hang up my wedding planner hat and start my photography business full-time.
So, I bought a camera, and the rest was history. (j.k. there's more...)
Fun fact about myself is that I used to be a wedding planner for several years while jumpstarting my photography career. I have always had a fascination and passion for weddings; there is something about being a part of something so special and creating images for my couples that they can look back on year after year that makes my heart SO happy!
And let me tell ya, I'm so happy i did!
I started my photography business in 2020 and took it full-time in 2023!
As much as I loved planning people's dream weddings and see them come to life, I am so happy and blessed that I am able to devote all of my time to photography.
